Product Damage Q&A

While Louerable is not liable for any rental damage, we do have a few recommendations around how to deal with the situation with the goal that our users are satisfied with our service and user experience.
  • If the product is within the warranty, we recommend contacting the manufacturer to repair it.
  • If the product is out of warranty but is within extended warranty from the credit card that was used to purchase the product, we recommend contacting the manufacturer to repair and reimburse the repair cost via the credit card.
  • If neither of the above is applicable, we recommend the lender and the borrower resolve the issue via direct communication. A few options available: agree to replace the item at the lender’s cost, lender to pay the repair cost, or lender to purchase the damaged item at an agreed amount.
